Moneydance should let reminders be duplicable

Sometimes it would be easier to duplicate an existing reminder and make adjustments to the duplicate than to re-enter a new reminder from scratch.

Moneydance should allow drag-and-drop reorganization for the home page

Note: This refers to the “home page” in the Moneydance application itself, not the Moneydance website.

At present, items on the home page can be moved around and customized only via old-school add/remove/move-left/move-right controls in the preferences window. It’d be nice to be able just to grab sections and drag them around.

Moneydance should avoid surprising Mac users by exiting completely when the last open window is closed

With most Mac applications, closing the last open window does not cause the application to exit completely; rather, the application remains in memory and comes back up quickly when the user requests a new window to be opened.

Moneydance is a Java program and runs very well on the Mac, but I cannot get over the fact that it quits completely when I close the main window. This keeps confusing me because it contradicts just about every other program I run.

Moneydance: a personal finance application

Moneydance is similar to Quicken, but it has some advantages: it's written in Java, so it will run fine on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc.; and it's much cheaper!
